VIRVA HAT

Sale Price:€3.60 Original Price:€4.50

The Virva Hat began as a set with a matching pair of fingleress mitts which were origially published in Laine Magazine’s Issue 3 in September 2017. Fiona wanted to incorporate spring like imagery into a design which would be perfect to wear as we wait for longer and warmer days.

This hat begins with a brim of twisted ribbing which then turns into the stems of the flower buds. They are encased in a dome like structure. These buds look as if they are being protected by a greenhouse or terrarium. The rest of the hat is a mixture of Garter Stitch and columns of twisted stitches.

The set is sold separately. This listing is for the Virva Hat. Click here to purchase the Virva Fingerless Mitts.

This product listing if for the PDF pattern for the garment pictured and described here and not the actual finished item.
